"I read your post titled PivotTable Calculated Fields and want to know what should I do to calculate the weight of each column on the overall total "
The starting example of that post is the following table dynamics:
As you can see it is a pivot table with the breakdown by areas of revenue, direct costs and gross margin. What want to achieve is that where information is displayed as percentages of the totals for each column to see the "weight" each area of \u200b\u200bthe total.
If we want to simply replace percentage figures for the operation is very simple. Namely:
We are located in cell B4 and click the right mouse button. Following popup menu appears, where you select the option Field Settings:
In the window that opens click on the button Options:
Show data as Open and select the option % of total :
and objective achieved (obviously we have to repeat the same operation for the other two columns):
If we want to appear both data (the number and percentage that represents of the total) we'll just duplicate the three columns we have (by dragging the fields to the data area of \u200b\u200bthe PivotTable) and then follow steps just explained. We will start with the revenue column Zone:

"drag" the field income within the PivotTable Data area and release. Appears at the end of the table, again the amount of revenue by area:
apply in this column explained the steps to calculate the percentage of the total ( we can use to change the name of this field in the Field Settings menu Name ):
Now we only have to put this column to the right of Income Zone. To do this we place ourselves in the column that we call Entries % / Total and click the right mouse button. We use the option Order:
The result is as expected:
