"I have a sheet with many data and estimates of partial sums dispersed by the sheet. In addition to these sums I have other formulas. I need to locate all cells where there is a formula you're using SUM function, as I review the ranges applied in this function are correct. "


The solution to this problem is very simple using the Find tool . For this we will use the following example:

1. We go to the Edit menu / Search . The following window opens:


2. Within the field Search: write the word SUM and found that within the field Search within: have selected Formulas. Press the button Find all . The result is as follows:


After resolving the problem raised in this consultation, we many options to work. The first thing to note is that this tool presents a list of all the cells containing the desired function to your formula. Thus we can see from the own tool if the range of SUMA is of interest. Also you can click on each search results and excel automatically selects the cell to which it refers:


In this picture you can see that selecting the first search result selected excel the cell sheet referenced (Cell B11).

can also make multiple selections by checking, for example, the first search result and clicking with the Shift key down in the final result Search:


As you see in the image excel select the three cells involved, namely: B11, C11 and E11.

Finally can also make a discontinuous selection by pressing Ctrl and clicking on the search results that interest you (eg first and last):
